Israel is a husband, father, and Ph.D student in Kinesiology, with a major in Exercise Science at the University of Alabama. His research interests center around using metric-based physical activity measurement as both an outcome and an intervention for post-operative cohorts. Additionally, he is exploring ways to reduce fall risk among community-dwelling older adults using physical activity and exercise as an intervention and diagnostic/screening tool. Outside of his academic pursuits, Israel finds joy driving in the rain. .
