Chukwudi Ogbueche Memorial ERPPAN Award

Mr. Ogbueche was an active member of our network until his passing. Our board of directors, executive officers, and network members have decided to honor his legacy by establishing a yearly award for the top student in the gerontological/geriatric physiotherapy course in the Department of Medical Rehabilitation at Nnamdi Azikiwe University - his alma mater. The award is valued at ₦100,000.

This scholarship was established in 2018 by Emerging Researchers & Professionals in Ageing-African Network (ERPAAN). The fund is provided by generous donations by ERPAAN members. This scholarship aims to stimulate problem identifying and solving approach for final year undergraduate student projects in Nigerian Universities. Eligible applicants must be final year students willing to conduct independent research among older adults.
